About Us.

My name is Colette van Zyl, founder of Famous Africa and your dedicated bespoke travel planner, committed to crafting exceptional and deeply personal travel experiences tailored to your every desire.

Born and raised in the vibrant coastal city of Durban, South Africa, my passion for this extraordinary continent was shaped from an early age.

Following my graduation with a Diploma in Tourism, I began my career within luxury lodges, gaining invaluable on-the-ground experience before transitioning into consulting—where I now specialise in transforming African travel dreams into seamless, unforgettable realities for my clients.
