Payment terms

Payment terms and conditions are governed by the relevant supplier which will be booked and confirmed on your behalf through Famous Africa.

Non-refundable deposit requirements

A 30% deposit of the total amount for all land arrangements. Furthermore, a 100% payment will be required for Air Travel as tickets must be issued simultaneously.

Final payment requirements

The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to travel. If bookings are made less than 60 days before departure, then full payment (100%) is required at the time of the booking.

Deferral of bookings

All deferral bookings must be sent in writing to Famous Africa. Please bear in mind that should a deferral take place then the booking will be subjected to any increases even though previous payments have already be made to Famous Africa.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be sent in writing to Famous Africa. Penalties are governed by the relevant supplier, therefore Famous Africa makes no guarantees as to securing such penalties or refunds.

Booking cancellations

60-31 days – 75% of the total of the final invoice value will be charged.

31 days or less – 100% of the final invoice total will be charged.

No Shows

All no shows will be charged a 100% of the total value of the booking.
